Residential Lot Inventory
Attached is the most recent update of the residential lot inventory of platted
developments throughout the city. This inventory basically consists of active
developments that still have lots available which allows the city to track how
the residential developments are progressing towards build out. It should be
noted that once a development is built out, it is removed from this list. For
example, Country Crossing Townhomes 1st Addition and 2nd Addition have
been completed; therefore, are removed from the inventory.
According to this most recent inventory, there are 353 platted residential lots
available for development. Based on last year's building permit activity, this
is equivalent to approximately a 2 year supply of residential lots.
Although this may not seem like a large inventory, several of the existing
developments include preliminary plat. The building activity and market
forces will certainly be a deciding factor on how rapid additional lots are
brought on line for development.
