Hot Topical of the Month
September marks the beginning of our fall program offerings and the conclusion of most
of our summer classes. One summer program that is offered into the fall is the Farmers
Market which ran from June 25th until September 14th. The Farmers Market offers a
variety of homegrown produce and is held adjacent to the Westbound Liquor store. In
2008 there were 12 vendors signed up for the Farmers Market. In 2009 that number
increased to 21. The response from residents shopping at the Market has been very
positive.

• Currently 528 memberships have been paid for 2009 (306 Total for 2008)
• Saturday Hours begin on Sept. 19. The Activity Center will be open on the first and
third Saturdays of the month from Sam-12noon.
