For the past several years the EDA, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, has recognized Ells
Rivex• manufacturers annually during Minnesota Manufacturer's leek. The attached flyer highlights the
recognition event to be held ~Iednesday, October 21, 2009. The event will include a breakfast
buffet/presentation from Ch~'is Carlson, owner of Sportech, inc. i-~e will be presenting Culti~~ating the
Cultural Side of .Business; a strong corporate culture based on values and principles. The breakfast will be
followed by an employer mini. resource fair and tour of Sportech, inc.
To show appreciation of Elk River's manufacturing community, the local manufacturers have been
invited to attend the event and breal~fast compliments of the EDA.
