PARKING PROBLEMS ON IRVING AVENUE
This is to inform the City Council that the high school students
who were parking in the Schoolview Addition have moved to a new
locations. As a result of three (3) hour signs being placed in
Schoolview, they have moved to Irving Avenue south of School
Street.
I am, therefore, requesting authorization to have three (3) hour
parking restrictions on the below mentioned streets during school
hours:
Irving Avenue south of School Street to 6th Street
8th Street from Irving to Jackson Avenue
7th Street from Irving to Jackson Avenue
6th Street from Irving to Jackson Avenue
Jackson Avenue from 6th Street to School Street
If approved, Phil Hals will be placing signs on Irving Avenue from
7th Street to School Street, and on 7th Street and 8th Street
initially. If the parking problems move further south, he will
then sign the rest of the area in question.
I hope this is the end of this problem.

Dear Mr. Klaers:
I received a complaint about our students parking on Irving near School Street in front of Lincoln.
For safety reasons to protect elementary students, I would suggest parking limitations during
school hours on Irving close to Lincoln.
Sincerely,
ELK RIVER AREA HIGH SCHOOL
