Based on the legal council of Gray Plant Mooty, the pay request process is being handled over
two separate commission meetings. At the October 13th commission meeting, management
provided an industry comparison survey of seven predetermined peer metro utilities. Also
provided was the regional consumer price index. The topic was tabled to be considered at the
November commission meeting. Staff had requested a pay increase of the surveyed metro
average of 2.73%.
