Dear Pat,
Since the first of January, the Elk River Area Arts Council has
raised over $5,000 needed for the release of the matching funds of
$5,000 that you have budgeted for us in 1995.
Enclosed is a summary of the monies that apply to this local match.
If desired, I will supply a printout from our computer accounting
program which reflects the total action of our bank account.
• If the City would release the budgeted funds at this time, these
funds will help us with our summer Strings for Youth Program and
with the Arts in the Park concerts.
We hope that Elk River will continue to provide funding for our
programs in 1996. Please advise us of the appropriate time to
approach the City Council with our request.
Very truly yours,
~~
David V. Beauvais, Coordinator
