SUBJECT: Sherburne County Parade
INTRODUCTION
The Sherburne County Fair Parade will be held on July 21, 1995, at 6:00
• p.m. During the past several years, the Elk River Council has represented
the City in the parade by riding on a fire truck.
This year the Mayor has been asked to join the Mayors of the five cities in
Sherburne County to be the Grand Marshals in the parade. The parade
board will be providing a car far the Mayors.
The City Councilmembers are welcome to participate in the Sherburne
County Parade. The Fire Chief has indicated that the Fire Department will
provide a fire truck for the Councilmembers.
ACTION REQUESTED
1. I need to know if the Mayor is interested in riding with the other
Mayors of Sherburne County as the Parade Grand Marshals.
2. I need to know if the Council is interested in participating in the
Sherburne County Parade so that I can submit a parade entry.
