Staff has been informed that Commissioner Sue Daleiden also plans to resign from the Commission and will soon be submitting a letter of resignation. • BACKGROUND Following acknowledgment of Commissioner Lipetsky's resignation, the Council authorized the advertisement for applicants to fill the vacancy. The City has received seven applications. The applications are attached for your review. Also attached is an application that was submitted during the annual search for applicants for terms beginning January 1, 1995. (City policy requires these applications to be kept on file for one year). Commissioner Lipetsky's term expires on 12/31/95 and Commissioner Daleiden's term expires on 12/31/96. The City Council can interview as many of the applicants as desired. If the Council decides not to interview all of the applicants, then staff will send a letter to those who were not interviewed.
