SUBJECT: Ordinance Amendment Request by the
City of Elk River, Public Hearing
Case No. OA 95-10
The City of Elk River is requesting an ordinance amendment which would
add a five foot driveway setback from side and rear property lines for all
residential zoning districts.
Background
At the July 25, 1995, Planning Commission meeting, the Commission wanted
more information regarding the five foot driveway setback along with a
• definition of driveway. Therefore, this item was continued by the Planning
Commission to their August 22, 1995, Planning Commission meeting.
Recommendation
Staff recommends. the City Council table this request until the September 18,
1995, City Council meeting.
