Call Meeting To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Public Library Board
was called to order at 6:27 p.m. by Chair Dietz.

APPROVE THE OCTOBER 27, 2009 LIBRARY BOARD AGENDA. MOTION
CARRIED 4-0.
3. Consider Minutes of September 22, 2009 Library Board Meeting
MOVED BY JAYNE DIETZ AND SECONDED BY MIKE HANGAARD TO
APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 22, 2009 LIBRARY BOARD MEETING
MINUTES. MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
4. Consider Treasure's Report as of October 27, 2009 Library Board Meeting
MOVED BY KAREN STELK AND SECONDED BY JAYNE DIETZ TO
APPROVE THE TREASURER'S REPORT AS OF THE OCTOBER 27, 2009
LIBRARY BOARD MEETING. MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
5. Librarian's Report -Mick Stoffers
5.1. Fireplace
The building official has inspected the fireplace and will sign off once the design
engineer has delivered an updated final report and as-built drawing.
5.2. Projector for Community Room
Installation process has started, will be done by the end of this year.

5.3. Parking lot signs
They have been changed out. Signs have also been put up on either end of Orono
Parkway, these are directional signs.
5.4. Friends of the Library Book Sale
They raised approximately $2,200.
5.5 GRRL Monev
ER Library is receiving $275 from GRRL for programming. The State has Legacy
Funds to help pay for Author/Musical Visits.
5.6. GRRL Restructure
The committee is recommending a formula for appropriate staffing hours. This may
show the need to distribute the hours differently.
6. Adjournment
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:50pm. Next meeting will be
held on November 24, 2009.
