Approve the attached resolution adopting the 2010 Compensation Plan fax Non-Organized Employees.
ack r~undl iscuss~~n
The majority of the Compensation Plan is unchanged far 2010, The 2010 budget does not include a cost
of living adjustment and the first item under Pay has been changed to reflect that, The City Counca.l
previously acted on the 2010 Flexible Benefits Plan Contribution included in the Insurance Benefits
section of the Plan.
The second item under Pay has been changed to require continued satisfactory performance as a
condition to Wastewater Operators receiving a step increase when they obtain a new license. This is
consistent with the requirement of all non-union employees as indicated under Step Increases.
Because the 2010 Compensation Plan is relatively unchanged from 2009, it has been put on the consent
agenda; however, if you would like to discuss it ox would like a presentation on this plan, please pull it off
the consent agenda.
Financial Irn ~ act
Costs associated with the Compensation Plan are included in the 2010 budget.
