A RESOLU'T'ION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
TO GRANDE THE LAND USE
FROM URBAN RESIDENTIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
Case No. LU 09-02
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 4G2.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure
£or amending the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on December $, 200 and
recommended approval regarding the Comprelensive Plan amendment request £or the property
generally described as;

and,
'WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request
and finds the following.
1. The proposed amendment is appropriate for this site because the use of the site is
more appropriately high density residential, liven the lot conlx~uration and access
constraints,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
tllat the Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as described above £rom Urban
Residential to High Density Residential.
