Hiring Part-Time Office Assistant
**Item 3.4.**
We advertised (in the StarNevas) for a part-time office assistant position available in the
Street/Park Department. We received 27 applications then selected and interviewed five
candidates. We chose Donna Malecha from Zimmerman. Donna has passed the background
check and she'll work 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, starting at $10.13 per hour (pay
grade 4 step A). She will be eligible for prorated sick leave and vacation time.
Recommendation
Approve hiring Donna Malecha as part-time office assistant at $10.13 per hour.
