~ have balked to Mayor Klinzing about the Council 2010 goals discussion scheduled fox
Monday's worksession. She has offered to lead the discussion on Monday. Please come
prepared to discuss items and issues of importance to you that you feel should be high
priorities fox the city in 2010. The Council's goals will define staffs priorities for 2010 and
provide guidance to staff to ensure that we axe woxking toward the same goals, objectives,
and vision as the Council.
Attached is a recap and status update of the action items the Council identified fox 2009.
As you can see, some of the items axe ongoing and others axe one time projects ox issues.
Some of these items will lil~ely carry over to 2010 if they axe still Council priorities. 0f
course, during the year prio~•ities may change to due to budget issues, unforeseen projects ox
issues, new priorities, and so on. For that reason and others, it is important to review our
direction and priorities frequently so we stay the course to accomplish what is important to
the Council and City's future.
