The two boilers used to heat the floor in the locker zooms and the water for the ice resurfacer are old, inefficient, and need to be replaced. The new boilers will have a 93.3% efficiency rating compared to the existing boilers 80% rating. inancia~l ~rrta~ct ~~„~. If all portions of the application are approved, the city may receive up to X100,000 in grant funding. The city is not required to provide a match, but the application would be sco~•ed higher. The Ice Arena Com~rrission approved using X39,417 as a match, which would come fxom the Bleacher Fund, Bleacher Funds are collected from ticl~et sales of high school hocl~ey games played at the arena.
