Request authorization to purchase 2010 parks maintenance equipment listed below.

The following equipment has been approved for purchase ara 2D10 by the Fleet Committee and budgeted
in the 2010 equipment replacement fund.
John Deere 3720 Tractor and attachments from Scharber and Sons on state contract for $59,G99.
This tractor will be used far mowing, ballWfield maintenance, and as a bacl~ up for sidewall~
plowing. It replaces a 1996 tractor.
~ VwPlow for sidewalk tractor from Cushman Motor Company on state contract for X8,177.
® Paint Mixer for ball-field paint from Kromer Corp. with government discount for X7,407. This
mixer will allow us to buy paint in bulk thus reducing paint costs by 30 percent.
The parks department has one more purchase budgeted in 2010, a two ton pickup, but due to the state
contL~act not being finalized at wall be approved later this year.
