SUBJECT: Tobacco Free Parks
At the January 13, 2010 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting the commission
discussed making a recommendation to change the tobacco use policy for city parks and
recreation facilities. As a next step, staff would like to schedule a public hearing at the March
10, 2010 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting in order to receive public comment.
Staff is requesting a formal motion to hold a public hearing to receive public comment.
