Appointment of Vice Mayor
INTRODUCTION
As part of the annual business meeting, the City Council is required
to appoint a vice mayor to preside in the absence of the mayor. All
councilmembers are eligible for this office. The past practice of the
council has been to rotate the position based on seniority.
Listed below are the vice mayors that were appointed during the
past four years:
1992 - Vice Mayor Holmgren
1993 - Vice Mayor Dietz
1994 -Vice Mayor Farber
1995 - Vice Mayor Scheel
