SUBJECT: Temporary Liquor License Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce
REOUEST
Temporary 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor On-Sale
APPLICANT
Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce
BACKGROUND
The above request is for the annual 4th of July event hosted by the Elk River Area
Chamber of Commerce. The event takes place at Lake Orono Park. The request is to sell
3.2 percent beer for on sale consumption on July 4, 2003. The Chamber of Commerce has
submitted the appropriate application and license fee. Because the event is being held on
City property at Lake Orono Park, liquor liability insurance is required.
ACTION REQUESTED
Council motion approving the request an on-sale 3.2% malt liquor license for the Elk
River Area Chamber of Commerce.
