SUBJECT: Review Guest List for Appreciation
Dinner
INTRODUCTION:
The appreciation dinner is scheduled for February 13, 1996. The
event is being planned to show appreciation to volunteers who have
served on boards and commissions of the city during the year of
1995. The guest list is attached for your review
BACKGROUND:
The council is requested to review the list and inform staff if there
have been volunteers that have been overlooked and are not on the
list. Because the gifts that have been ordered are personalized, staff
will need any additions to the list as soon as possible.
As of this time, the staff members that will be attending will be the
City Administrator and the City Clerk. The Administrative
Secretary will be present to assist with the details of the evening.
Department heads have discussed the idea of also having
department head representatives attending. Staff feels that it would
be a good gesture to have the department heads present so that they
can make the individuals feel more comfortable and to show their
appreciation for the work they have accomplished during the past
year.
Staff recommendation is that the following department heads attend:
