Dear Mayor Klinzing,
I am writing to inform you that I have accepted a position with the City of Coon
Rapids as its Redevelopment Specialist. It is a new position who's primary
duties include implementing a redevelopment plan for Coon Rapids Boulevard
and coordinating various economic development activities. My last day will be
Monday August 13, 2001.
I have very much enjoyed working for the City of Elk River over the past two
years and am grateful for the opportunities I've had here. I've been very
impressed with the City's progressive attitude toward growth and development,
as well as with its strong sense of community. Elk River has a great deal to be
proud of and I wish the City the best of luck in all its future endeavors.
