ABM Annual Conference
This years annual business meeting will be hosted by Cincinnati, Ohio. This conference is a
conference for all building officials from BOCA, ICBO, CABO, etc. to discuss code changes
for the new International Building Code; which will be ready for adoption in June 2002. For
the past two years, I've been very active in this code change with chairing the committee for
general and occupancy parts of the new code. Also, vice chairing the International Building
Code committee for MNCO and. now chairing that same committee. I feel this conference
will be very beneficial in all the work I've committed to for this code change to become a
reality. This conference will be held September 16-20, 2001. The cost of this conference will
be approximately $1,100.00. This amount was an approved budget item for this year, listed
under out-of-state conference. If you have any further questions or concerns, please call me
