Adopt attached resolution amending the meeting time for the City Council worksession meetings to 6:30
p.m. on the second Monday of the month effective May 10, 2010.
Background/Discussion
At the April 12, 2010, worksession, Council voted unanimously to change the City Council worksession
meetings held on the second Monday of the month back to 6:30 p.m.

RESOLUTION 10-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MEETING TIME FOR THE CITY
COUNCIL WORKSESSION MEETINGS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-52 of the Elk River City Code, the time and day of City
Council meetings shall be set by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council adopted Resolution 08-34 changing the
worksession meetings held on the second Monday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
or immediately following the Economic Development Authority; and
WHEREAS, on April 12, 2010, the Elk River City Council voted unanimously to change
the time of their worksession held on the second Monday of the month back to 6:30 p.m. in
the best interest of the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ciry Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota that the City Council worksession meetings held on the second Monday of
the month shall be held at 6:30 p.m. effective May 10, 2010.
