Action Requested
The City Attorney has requested further review of the zoning proposal, so staff recommends that the City
Council open and continue the public hearing to the May 17, 2010 City Council meeting. No action is
being requested on the application at this time.
Planning Commission Discussion
A commercial property owner stated he did not want his property included in the commercial zoning but
after it was explained the zoning was staying Planned Unit Development with an overlay, he was more
comfortable with the change.
The Planning Commission had a couple minor clarification questions regarding the zoning and
unanimously recommended approval of the request.
