SUBJECT: Hiring a Part Time Worker
I would ask the City Council to approve the hiring of a laborer for the next
two months at $6.00 per hour. We have many unfinished projects, but the
prime tasks that I have in mind for this person are to install sign posts and
park trail gates. It is to the city's advantage to take this opportunity to get
this work done before freeze up and not have to pay Maintenance II wages
for laborer tasks. Lori Johnson has indicated there is money in the street
department budget that could be used for this purpose.
