SUBJECT: Council Meeting Schec~'ule
If the City Council is to meet on the fifth Monday of a month, it requires a
special City Council meeting to be called. At this time, staff is planning to
hold a worksession with the City Council on Monday, October 30, 1995, and,
as this is the fifth Monday of October, it is appropriate for the Council to
formally call this special meeting for 6 p.m. at City Hall.
At this time it is anticipated that the comprehensive plan will be ready for
City Council review by the end of November. In this regard, a public hearing
should be scheduled for this plan review and the best date available appears
to be November 27, 1995. Staff will attempt to keep the agenda clear of other
items so that the comprehensive plan update will be the only topic of
• discussion for the City Council on 11/27/95. It is requested that the City
Council, by motion, set the comprehensive plan public hearing for the
November 27, 1995, City Council meeting. The exact location of this meeting
is unknown as we are trying to work with the school to schedule an
appropriately sized meeting area.
