Subject: Renewal of Refuse Service Contract
Dear Mr. Plessel:
As you are aware, the contract for refuse service between Pretzel's Sanitation and the
City of Elk River expired on May 31, 2001. Under the section of the contract titled'}
"Terms of Agreement", the contract may be renewed for an additional two year term. On
behal£ of the City of Elk River, I am proposing to renew this contract under the existing
terms for an additional two year period. Please notify me in writing to let me k2~ow if this
proposal is acceptable to Pretzel's Sanitation. The new term will then expire on May 31
2003. '

ATTACHMENT B
Monthly payment -- $1,427.37. (Total Annual Contract - $17,128.44) In addition, the
contractor may charge the City $1.15 per extra bag deposited at the softball complex
building. The Contractor shall itemize such additional charges on its monthly invoice to
the City described in Section IV D.2.
