Canine (K-9) Update
This is an update for the city council on our K-9 Program. Unfortunately, Corporal
Dummer had to have his K-9, Billy, euthanized because of a cancerous tumor on his hip.
We, therefore, have selected another officer per policy to become our newest K-9 officer.
Officer Brian Boos, who has been with the City for three (3) plus years, will be our new K-9
officer. He will start his training with our new dog on September 10, 2001. His training will
be completed in November.
